It is our desire to create an engaging, irresistible environment for your preschooler. Here are some policies and procedures we have put into place to help ensure your child’s safety and care.
Out of Harm’s Way
All Waumba Land rooms are monitored before, during, and after each service. You and your child will receive a corresponding numbered security tag. You must present your portion of the tag when you pick up your child… no exceptions. All of our volunteers are carefully trained and screened to ensure the safest environment possible.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Children are accepted into the classroom fifteen minutes prior to the service and must be signed in by their parent or guardian. Children should be picked up immediately following the service unless paged beforehand.
Good Health
Children who show signs or symptoms of fever or any other contagious illness are not accepted.
Enrollment
It is imperative that a guest registration form be filled out for each child visiting Waumba Land. Our Host Team will greet you and help you with the enrollment process.
Special Needs
Please speak with a Waumba Land staff member to determine the environment best suited for your child.
Tips & Reminders
Please label all of your children’s belongings. We discourage children bringing their own toys into class with them, as it is easy for them to be misplaced or forgotten.
