Jason Perkins - Lead Pastor
Hello, my name is Jason! I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. During my formative years I developed a passion for sports and spent many hours practicing and playing every sport I could. After graduating from High School, I pursued a degree in Physical Education and graduated from the University of Western Sydney. During my final year at university, I sensed the Lord leading me toward ministry, so I went on to study Biblical Studies at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Australia. I am passionate about creating environments where every hurdle is removed for those seeking to connect with God. My wife, Kristin, and I have been married for 16 years and we have three children, Xavier, Olivia and Miles.
Jason has over 15 years experience in ministry serving in various roles with Word of Life Fellowship and over 10 years of experience in Marketing and Sales in private business.
Jennelle Torrey - Assistant to the Lead Pastor
Hi, my name is Jennelle Torrey and I excited to service as the Personal Assistant to the Pastor at Red Rock Church. I grew up in North Central Pennsylvania on a dairy farm, went to college and started my career in Rochester, NY. I spent 25 years teaching technology to kids and adults. I met my husband on E-harmony and we have been happily married for almost 10 years. We enjoy watching funny movies, being outside, gardening, cooking and just spending time together.
Josh Wilson- Production Director
My name is Josh and I am honored to serve as the Production Director at Red Rock Church. I am originally from Denver and moved to San Diego in 1997. There I met and married my college sweetheart, Liane. I served as the production/technical director on staff at two churches in the San Diego area over a 12 year period. In February of 2016, my family and I packed up the U-Haul and headed east to Colorado Springs. Liane and I have been married for 16 years and we have three awesome children, Avery, Briar and Bracey. We are all excited to be in Colorado Springs and serving at Red Rock Church!
Jason Jenkins- Music Director
Hi my name is Jason and I serve as the Music Director at Red Rock Church. I was born in Alabama, although raised much of my life outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I moved to Colorado Springs to attend a Bible College and while there met my incredible wife. We have 3 boys who bring us so much joy. Colorado Springs is home for us. I have a passion for helping people by being a part of creating environments where all feel they have a place to discover and follow Him fearlessly. I have over 17 years of experience leading singing/bands in various church and ministry environments. It’s truly an honor to lead alongside such amazing staff and genuine loving volunteers who are for this city of Colorado Springs.
Charles "Chuck" Smith- Family Ministries Director
Hi my name is Chuck Smith and I serve as the Family Ministries Director at Red Rock Church. I grew up in Long Beach California and I met my amazing wife in college at Hope International University in Fullerton, CA. We have moved from outside of Phoenix, Arizona where we lived 9 months out of the year and spent our summers directing a summer camp in Northern California. I have 20+ years experience serving children and youth in various roles. We have 3 kids ages 9, 6 and 5 that keep us very busy. I enjoy hiking, camping, golfing and following the LA Dodgers. My wife, Cascia, and I enjoy spending time with our kids exploring, hanging out at the zoo and spending our vacation time hanging out on the beach. We love serving at Red Rock and can’t wait to see all the amazing things that God is going to do with the Next Generation in Colorado Springs!
Amy McCauley- Children's Ministry Director
Hi my name is Amy McCauley and I am the Children’s Ministry Director here at Red Rock Church! I am a former teacher and have a passion for creating a place where kids can discover Jesus and where we can partner with parents. I am the mom of three daughters and the wife to my awesome husband Jerry! I look forward to meeting you and your kids on a Sunday morning.
April Fields- Children's Ministry Curriculum Lead
Hi, my name is April Fields and I am the curriculum lead for Children’s Ministry. I was born in San Diego but have lived in Colorado for most of my life! I attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. I taught for 15 years and then decided to take some time off from the classroom after receiving my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I began volunteering at Red Rock teaching a class as a small group leader and helping with the curriculum. I was then hired in October of 2018 to take over curriculum and train new Children’s Ministry volunteers. I love serving in a place where I can make an eternal impact and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the children and families here at Red Rock Church! I have been married to my wonderful husband Tim for the last 17 years and we have two amazing children, Hunter and Delaney! We enjoy spending time hiking, camping, driving in the mountains, and watching our children’s sports and activities.
Liane Wilson- UpStreet Large Group Director
Hi, my name is Liane and I am the Large Group Director for Waumba and UpStreet, our pre-school and elementary environments. On Sunday mornings, I help to create an fun and engaging environment for ages k-5th. We aim to help kids discover Jesus by making worship fun, bringing bible stories to life, and bringing home one big idea a month. I am married to my awesome husband Josh and am the mother of 3 great kids, Avery, Briar, and Bracey.
Chelsea Schultz- Family Ministries Logistics Coordinator
I’m Chelsea Schultz and I serve as the Family Ministries Logistics Coordinator. I grew up in Illinois and met my husband Dan there when I was in college. We moved to Colorado in 2007 to follow God’s leading in our lives. We have 4 kids and love being outdoors with them. I really love partnering with the parents at Red Rock to make sure they can take advantage of the programs we have and also have great conversations with their kids at home.
KJ Kandell- Ministry Services Director
Hello! My name is KJ and I have the privilege to serve at Red Rock as the ministry services director which includes HR, IT, finance, facilities, and legal. I grew up in Atlanta, GA and went to college at UGA. I spent 27 years working in the IT industry but in 2018 God brought me to Colorado Springs to pursue my true passion of working at a church that is dedicated to reaching the unchurched. I also won the lottery in 2010 when I met Brittney, my wife and catch of a lifetime. We have two kids, a boy and a girl, that love life and are complete extroverts. I enjoy hiking, golf, and table tennis, but mostly just playing with my kids. We are excited to be a part of the Red Rock family and praying for God to do big things through our church for the city of Colorado Springs!
Lauren Belcher- Guest Services/1830 Director
Hello, my name is Lauren! I am blessed to serve as the Guest Services Director as well as the 1830 Director. I was born and raised in Johnson City, Tennessee. I started competing as a swimmer from a young age and eventually went on to compete at the collegiate level. After attending Emory and Henry College in Virginia, God moved me out to Colorado Springs in the fall of 2017 to continue pursuing a Biology degree. I discovered Red Rock my very first Sunday after moving into my apartment, I immediately fell in love with the church’s mission of creating a place where anyone and everyone can discover Jesus and learn to follow Him fearlessly. I joined the team in November of 2017 as the 1830 Director where I was able to love on my own generation and create the opportunity for young adults to learn to follow Jesus fearlessly. In May of 2018, I began to put the passion of helping people discover Jesus to work as the Guest Services Director. God has truly given me a heart for ministry since moving to Colorado Springs. I love to drink coffee, be around all of the people, and read all the books.
Clay Enoch- Adult Ministries Director
My name is Clay Enoch. I was born and reared (southern) in Memphis, TN, then attended Wheaton College in IL (southern tempered out of me), where I earned a degree in fine art. I have been working as a self-employed sculptor since 1996, the year I got married and moved to Colorado Springs. My wife Krista and I had the privilege of helping to start Red Rock back in 2006. I never really dreamed of being on staff, but God has had a way of surprising me in my life, and I am thrilled to serve on this team. My title is the Adult Ministries Environment Director, which simply means I help people get connected and cared for in community, here at Red Rock. Krista and I have been married for 22 years and are rearing/raising four kids: Noah, Sadie, Seth, and Piper.
